Credentials

Credentials and recognition

How the Institute records completed learning, assessed achievement and demonstrated practical skills.
01

Certificate of Completion

Records the successful completion of the learning requirements stated for a course.

02

Certificate of Achievement

Records successful completion together with the published assessment standard achieved by the learner.

03

Practical Competency Record

Documents skills demonstrated through an observed or verified practical activity and approved against the stated criteria.

Assessment

Each programme publishes its assessment requirements and achievement threshold. Results are recorded in the learner’s academic record.

Practical verification

An authorised reviewer evaluates the required task and supporting evidence against the programme’s published criteria.

Digital transcript

A digital transcript presents a consolidated record of completed learning, assessments and verified achievements.

Programme credential

A programme credential is issued after the learner completes the requirements specified for that programme.

Credential standards

Clear requirements. Verifiable records.

Published programme requirements determine when a credential is issued.

Assessment and practical-review decisions are retained in the learner record.

Each issued credential carries a reference and verification status.

External recognition is identified only where a formal, current approval applies.

Kilimo Corps Institute credentials document learning and achievements completed through the Institute. Any external accreditation, professional recognition or national qualification status will be stated explicitly where it applies.
